Location: Chichagof Island, Alaska

Our unique location in Northern Southeast Alaska provides a perfect venue for your group to experience Alaska. We are close to Glacier Bay National Park and the West Chichagof-Yakobi Wilderness Area. On a calm inside waterway but close to the ocean and very much off the beaten path!

You will be staying in a rustic and cozy log cabin homestead that was built in 1939. Located on Chichagof Island in Southeast Alaska and is only accessible by seaplane or boat. The cabin is a ten-minute boat ride from the nearest town of Pelican, a town of only 60 people! Chichagof Island is a special place that provides a space to escape from the modern world. Once you get to the cabin you will be surrounded by untouched forest, have a beautiful view of the fjord, access to the Inlet, and streams.

There is no cell reception, no cars, no distractions, and no city noises or lights. The cabin runs from a generator on the property and water is supplied directly from a spring in the woods. This place is magical. There are hiking trails behind the cabin, as well as wild berries such as blueberries, salmonberries, and strawberries. We also have a favorite beach green called, "Goose Tongue.” This food is a local favorite and something we like to harvest and share. Our remote location provides a special opportunity to experience the beauty and energy of summertime in Alaska.

• Daily Outdoor Excursions including : Hiking, Site seeing from the boat (Whales, waterfalls, Eagles, Bears, etc.), Day spent at the Natural Hot springs, Tour of the small town

Travel Info

All airfare to and from the retreat is NOT included in the retreat pricing. Below is a step-by-step process of your travel to and from the retreat.

• Book your Alaska Seaplanes flight to Pelican, Alaska (Pelican is the town closest to our cabin!). Alaska Seaplanes is based in Juneau and offers three flights per day to Pelican during the summer. The flight is approximately 45 minutes long.

• Book your commercial flight to Juneau, Alaska

• Upon arrival we offer a complimentary shuttle from Pelican to the Cabin in our boat where you will begin the Retreat. We will greet you at the seaplane dock when your flight arrives. There are three flights per day from Juneau to Pelican, morning, midday, and evening. We recommend booking the evening flight. We are unable to pick up early arrivals as we are preparing for the retreat!

• On departure day we serve breakfast, then we offer a complimentary shuttle from the Cabin to Pelican to check in for your morning flight to Juneau. We recommend booking the morning flight as this may allow you more options for jet flights out of Juneau. We do not offer a late departure from the cabin or an additional stay.

• Please keep in mind that the weather in Southeast Alaska can be unpredictable and may result in delays

Cancellation Policy

Wilderness Reset does not offer refunds of any kind for the retreat deposit. 50% of the total trip price is due February 1st. Full payment is due 90 days before arrival day. Due to our short season and limited space, cancellations made less than 90 days before arrival are non-refundable unless we can re-book your space.

Naturally, no one books with the intention of canceling their retreat, but unexpected things do happen, so we strongly encourage you to purchase travel insurance.
